Curriculum Vitae  

Summary  

Mr. Lodwick earned his pharmacy degree from the University of Iowa.  He has a Masters Degree in Communications from Goddard College.  His master’s emphasis was on diabetes education particularly for those with limited English proficiency.  Mr. Lodwick monitored anticoagulation therapy for approximately 50,000 patient visits during his career.  The National Certification Board for Anticoagulation Providers has recognized him as a Certified Anticoagulation Care Provider.  Mr. Lodwick was named a Distinguished Coloradan by the faculty of the University of Colorado School of Pharmacy.  His clinic was one of the winners of the Abbott Hospital Pharmacy Quality Awards in 1998.  He has authored eleven articles, which were published in various pharmacy and medical journals.  Over the last several years, he has brought approximately $475,000 of grants, contracts and awards to the hospitals where he has been employed.  Mr. Lodwick has been a consultant for several legal actions including a murder trial.  He has been the speaker for over 100 groups ranging from Navajo middle-school students to the 8th World Congress on The Internet in Medicine in Geneva, Switzerland and The United States Food and Drug Administration.  He has twice been recognized as Roche Preceptor of the Year by students at the University of Colorado School of Pharmacy.  He has written three books pertaining to warfarin and one for pharmacy technicians.  His book Warfarin: Rat Poison to wonder Drug has been translated into the Thai language for free distribution in that country.  He is past-president of the Southern Colorado Society of Health-system Pharmacists.  He also maintains the website www.warfarinfo.com has had over 1,000,000 visitors from 158 countries that have read some 2,000,000 pages of information.
